Fox Illustration

An illustration of both my spirit animal and my favorite animal, the red fox. I enjoy hand crafted processes, this was my first time using scratchboard and I was thoroughly pleased with the intricacy of the markmaking. The original was scanned and the background color was edited to be a higher contrast, otherwise no edits were made, every mark made is there. This is one of my favorite objective pieces.
